We had been in this building (actually a house converted to an office) since the mid-late 80's, when we were working under The Needlecraft Shop.

Photo of SFG's computer system in 1997 – 19 viewsOctober 1997. The far left white cabinet held 3 IBM 9348 9-track tape drives (which we used for list exchanges). The white cabinet on the right held the IBM 3590 cartridge tape backup system (15 GB per cartridge uncompressed, 30 GB compressed). The small black tower to the right of the 3590 was an expansion unit for the main system tower (bigger black box with blue stripe). This is the IBM AS/400 (model 620 I think). I will have to get JT to remind me what the capacity of this system was.
